Please note: whenever possible (where known), I provide artist name/credit for mural walls. If you have seen Instagrammable Walls-let me know!! I love wall reports!!Įmail, tweet me share wall locations/photos on Instagram using #IGWallsofYEG. This Instagrammable Walls of Edmonton list will be semi-regularly updated, as I explore different areas of the city and find new walls! You may discover some walls no longer exist or were painted over (noo!!!) I’ll do my best to keep this as updated as possible but following along on social media or the Instagrammable Walls of Edmonton Facebook Group and attending my public group tours is also a way to stay on top of the more recent walls. Many of the mural walls listed are created as a result of a number of different arts festivals in the city, including Rust Magic Street Art Festival coordinated by Real Fresh Canvas ( see their specific walls here), Nextfest Arts Festival, The Works Festival, Mural Massive, RADO ALLEY Festival, and more!! Many other walls are just interesting colours, interesting textures, and designs done by independent artists and independent businesses (over the years, more and more businesses and property owners are going out of their way to get Instagrammable Walls added to their spaces!) It’s consistently one of my most popular, most read blog posts and I love when YOU send me wall reports too (have you seen this wall?-please keep doing that!)Įvery city has Instagrammable Walls! This was taken in Medicine Hat. I’m also happy to share as many wall locations as I can find in this post, a guide that has become a great resource for photographers and photo appreciators, locals and tourists alike. Since then, I’ve done countless walking wall tours (often combined with food) and am always so delighted whenever I hear an attendee remark that they’d never noticed this wall before, or that they’d seen this wall before but never considered it would make a pretty backdrop (until now), or that this was their first time exploring an alleyway, a neighbourhood, or learning about an artist!Įdmonton is home to SO many walls and over the years, more festivals, more business associations, more property owners, business owners and artists have been working to create a more beautiful city filled with art, walls, murals, and Instagrammable spaces! I love Instagrammable Walls so much that I started hosting Instagrammable Wall tours! My first Instagrammable Walls of Edmonton Photo Walktook place in June 2017 as part of Make Something Edmonton’s 100 in 1 Day city-building event. Our first Instagrammable Walls of Edmonton Photo Walk group on June 3, 2017! ![]()
